Service Drop Aluminum Overhead Cable

Properties of Service Drop Aluminum Overhead Cable:

1)The highest allowed operating temperature of conductor for long-term working is 90 degrees;

2)The installation temperature of cable should be not less than -20;

3)When overall diameter of cable(D) is less than 25mm,permissive bending radius of cable should be not

less than 4D,When overall diameter(D) of cable is equal to and above 25mm, permissive bending radius

of cable should be not less than 6D.

Construction of Service Drop Aluminum Overhead Cable:

Conductors are concentrically stranded ,compressed 1350-H19aluminum,insulated with either

polyethylene(PE) or crosslinked polyethylene(XLPE).The neutral messengers are concentrically stranded

AAC, ACSR, or 6201 aluminum alloy.ABC cable can be made 1 core, 2cores, 3cores, 4cores and so on.
