Aluminum Clad Steel (ACS) cable is a composite cable material. The aluminum layer is coated on the surface of the steel core through a metallurgical bonding process. It has both the mechanical strength of steel and the conductivity/corrosion resistance of aluminum. Typical application areas include power transmission systems, communication infrastructure, rail transportation and special environment applications.
Corrosion resistant in industrial, semi-industrial and marine environments.
Wide range of combinations of tensile strength and conductivity.
Same tensile strength as extra high strength steel but weighs 15% less.
Concentric-lay-stranded conductors of aluminum-clad steel wires.
Special specification or customer design also available by your referred document or by your simple.
