Description of ‌Quadruplex Overhead Service Drop cable

Conductor Combination：‌Three insulated phase conductors: usually aluminum conductors (such as

AAAC 1350 or AAAC 6201 alloys) covered with insulation for three-phase AC transmission.

‌One insulated neutral conductor: the same material as the phase conductors or a high-strength alloy

(such as AAAC 6201), the neutral conductor may be bare in some designs‌.

Insulation material:The outer layer of the phase and neutral wires is insulated with XLPE or PE, with a

temperature range of 75°C (PE) to 90°C (XLPE), and is UV and weather resistant.

Strung design:Four conductors are formed into a compact structure by concentric twisting or parallel

bundling, and the outer layer may be wrapped with a weather-resistant polyolefin sheath.
